Köysan® marine gearbox quotes are prepared according to model, reduction ratio and SAE connection. Learn how to get a price quote for your engine.
Short answer
We do not publish a fixed price list for Köysan® marine gearboxes on this site. Every quote is prepared according to the selected model, reduction ratio and your engine's SAE bell housing connection. Sending us your engine details is all we need to return the current price with the right configuration.
What information is needed for a quote?
To prepare your quote quickly and accurately, simply send us:
- Engine make and model
- Engine power (HP or kW) and maximum speed (rpm)
- The engine's SAE bell housing size — leave it blank if you are not sure
- Required reduction ratio — for example 2.0:1; leave it blank if you are not sure
- Boat type and intended use — fishing, leisure, crew or work boat
- Your current gearbox — make and model, if you are replacing one

Three choices settled in the quote
- Model: The mechanical A-1 and the hydraulic H series are designed for different power ranges and duty profiles.
- Reduction ratio: Models are offered with several ratio options; the ratio is chosen according to the propeller and the boat's use.
- SAE connection: The appropriate SAE option is selected so the gearbox mounts directly to your engine's bell housing.

Is there a Köysan gearbox price list?
We do not publish a fixed price list on this site. The current price is sent with your quote once the right model, ratio and SAE connection for your engine have been determined.
Is a 2:1 ratio Köysan gearbox available?
Yes. The 2.0:1 reduction ratio is offered on every model: A-1, H-1, H-2, H-3 and H-4.
I don't know which model to choose. Can I still get a quote?
Yes. Send us your engine power, speed and how the boat is used; we will determine the suitable model together based on that information.
